My friend Mike Trousdell at Arup delivered this excellent breakfast talk last November entitled L.O.V.E. or Large Offsite Virtuous Energy.

It’s a fascinating talk highlighting the futility of eco-bling in architectural design and the need to study and adapt our energy and resource consumption at a global level rather than building by building.

It’s a rather long video at 30minutes but well worth watching so I highly recommend you save it for for watching on the train, or like me on a Sunday morning with a cup of tea.
