Just discovered that I’ve won use of a 22m tall cherry picker for a week!

Facelift are going to furnish me with a terrific tool for getting some truly unique shots. There’s a bit of organising to be done before I hit the road with the truck but as soon as I do I’ll post the results here….

I’ve just finished a big spring clean of my website and infused it with lots of new images.

The last one to be taken was the photograph above which I took last night, along with the 3 below, at Barnard Farm - the owners were incredibly nice :-)   The little retreat or folly is another creation of my old workplace Heatherwick Studio, and a forerunner to the British Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo which opens next week.

I’ve been giving my portfolio a bit of a spring clean over the last couple of weeks.   I’m not finished yet but it’s been a nice excuse to get some nice images.
This photograph is of the vents in Paternoster Square, London, designed by my old boss Thomas Heatherwick.   I photographed them a couple of years ago but called back past this morning to have a second look.   I still love their simplicity, based on a very simple bit of paper folding.
